2022 expeditions will be conducted on two boats in four geographical locations: the Scottish Isles, Alaska, Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlotte Islands) and the wild west coast of Vancouver Island. Over a 10-day expedition you’ll sail approximately 300 miles, completing at least one 150-mile overnight passage while learning to deal with huge tides and current in dramatic and remote cruising areas. You’ll master traditional, celestial and electronic navigation, storm tactics, Lifesling overboard rescue and gain many valuable skills and experiences. Don’t hesitate to ask about the waiting list if the expedition you’re interested in is listed as filled, as we do get cancellations, particularly when expeditions sell out one year ahead.

I’m offering an identical Scottish Isles series of training expeditions in 2023, the starting and ending dates are one day earlier than in 2022.

Price: $4,000 per berth for Legs 1- 6, $5,000 per berth for Legs 7 – 9 and for all 2023 expeditions.
